Here’s a helpful write-up on changing the language in WWE 2K15.

On Xbox 360:

  • Go to System Settings > Console Settings > Language and Locale.
  • Change both fields.
  • Restart. The game will reflect the change immediately.

1. PC (Steam)

Method A: Change Steam Language (Recommended) On Xbox 360:

  1. Navigate to: Documents\WWE2K15\
  2. Open config.ini with Notepad.
  3. Find the line: Language = english
  4. Change english to your preferred code (e.g., french, german, spanish, italian).
  5. Save the file and set it to Read-Only (right-click > Properties) to prevent the game from overwriting it.

Xbox 360 / Xbox One

  1. Exit WWE 2K15.
  2. Open Settings > System > Language & location (or Language under Console settings).
  3. Choose your language and confirm.
  4. Restart the console and launch the game.

Cause: You have a region-locked key (e.g., RU/CIS region).
Fix: You cannot change the language via Steam officially. You must use the steam_api.ini manual override described in Method 3. If that fails, you need to download a separate language pack from third-party sites (proceed with antivirus caution).

Step-by-Step for PS4:

  1. Turn off the game completely. Close the application (Options button > Close) to ensure settings refresh.
  2. Go to Settings (the toolbox icon) on your PS4 home screen.
  3. Navigate to Language.
  4. Select System Language.
  5. Choose your desired language (e.g., English, French, Italian, German, Spanish).

What if it doesn’t work? If you have a Japanese or Russian region disc, the game might ignore system settings. In that case, you must change the console’s Region Format (Settings > Language > Input Language) to match the disc. For Japanese discs, set input to Japanese keyboard; for Russian discs, set to Russian.

PC (Steam)

  1. Open Steam, go to your Library.
  2. Right-click WWE 2K15 > Properties.
