Soalan Uasa English Form 3 -
Since the UASA format is relatively new (introduced to replace the PBS Pentaksiran Tingkatan 3 - PT3), this guide focuses on the latest structure, question types, and tips to help students score.
📖 Section A: Comprehension
- The Challenge: Texts can be factual (articles) or literary (stories).
- Tips:
- Read the questions first: Before reading the text, scan the questions to know what information to look for.
- Context Clues: If you don’t know a word, read the sentence before and after it to guess the meaning.
- Graph/Chart Questions: Pay close attention to titles, legends (keys), and specific numbers. Do not guess; read the data accurately.
Part B – Grammar & Vocabulary
Types of questions:
- Error identification / correction (e.g. She go to school → goes)
- Fill in blanks with correct tenses or prepositions
- Choose the best word to complete a sentence
How to prepare:
- Review Form 1–3 grammar (especially present perfect vs past simple).
- Do online quizzes (Wordwall, Quizizz for UASA English).
- Keep a vocabulary notebook – learn 5 new words daily with sentences.
4. Sample Schedule for Revision
- Monday: Listening practice (YouTube CEFR Listening tests).
- Tuesday: Grammar exercises (Tenses & Prepositions).
- Wednesday: Reading comprehension drills.
- Thursday: Write one essay (Part 2 or Part 3).
